About

Hi, I’m Animesh Jain, a passionate Data Analytics Engineer and Data Scientist with a strong foundation in Big Data AnalyticsMachine Learning, and Data Visualization. I thrive on transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions and innovation.

My Journey

I hold a Master’s in Information Systems (Big Data Analytics) from Georgia State University, where I graduated with a GPA of 3.99. My academic journey also includes a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing from C-DAC, Mumbai, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science Engineering from Oriental College of Technology, Bhopal. These experiences have equipped me with a robust technical skill set and a deep understanding of data-driven problem-solving.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with diverse organizations, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, where I’ve applied my expertise in data analysismachine learning, and business intelligence to solve real-world challenges. Whether it’s building predictive models, optimizing ETL workflows, or creating interactive dashboards, I’m always excited to tackle new problems and deliver impactful solutions.

What I Do

  • Data Analytics & Visualization: I specialize in creating interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BITableau, and SQL to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.
  • Machine Learning & AI: I’ve developed and deployed AI/ML models for fraud detection, customer behavior prediction, and sales forecasting, achieving measurable results like a 25% reduction in fraudulent claims.
  • Big Data & Cloud: I have hands-on experience with AWSAzure, and PySpark for processing and analyzing large datasets, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • ETL & Data Pipelines: I’ve designed and optimized ETL workflows using SSIS and SSAS to integrate data from multiple sources, enabling seamless data processing and reporting.

My Passion

I’m deeply passionate about leveraging data to solve complex problems and create value. Whether it’s predicting house prices, analyzing user behavior on Reddit, or building reusable data pipelines, I enjoy the entire process of turning raw data into meaningful insights. I’m also a lifelong learner, constantly exploring new technologies and methodologies to stay ahead in the ever-evolving field of data science.

Beyond Work

When I’m not crunching numbers or building models, you can find me exploring the latest trends in technology, contributing to open-source projects, or mentoring aspiring data scientists. I also enjoy staying active, whether it’s through hiking, playing sports, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Let’s Connect!

I’m always open to new opportunities, collaborations, and conversations. If you’re interested in discussing how I can contribute to your team or project, feel free to reach out via email or connect with me on LinkedIn.
